How to Use the Rosa Parks Timeline Cut and Paste Activity:
You can decide which timeline option works best for your students. One option allows students to cut and paste the events. The other option will have students write the events that occurred in the life of Rosa. With this option, students have more range to put the events in their own words. This is geared for 2nd grade students.
Once you have decided which option fits the needs of your classroom, print off enough copies for your students. You can begin by presenting students with a lesson on Rosa Parks. This may consist of reading passages and videos. Have a whole group discussion with students to learn more about Parks.
