About this resource
The holiday season is always a great time to celebrate cheer and spread love. In our classrooms, we get the great opportunity to celebrate many of these holidays with our students. Christmas is one of those holidays. It is a great time to learn about the holiday, enjoy it together, and incorporate some learning along the way.
One big part of celebrating the Christmas season is the parties and festivities that we host. Whether that is in our classroom or as a whole school building, we want to make sure these celebrations are organized and well supported so they can flow smoothly.
This is a set of Winter Wonderland Brochure that can be used to advertise and organize your Christmas party. This is a front and back trifold brochure. Included on the trifold:
--Cover page
--School layout map
--Station signs with space for short description (Santa’s Secret Shop, See Santa, Icicle Arena, and Reindeer Rest).
The brochure is printed in colour and is fully editable so you can change the font, clipart, or whatever you need to fit your needs.
I hope you enjoy!

Teaching tips
One school is named twice, in the welcome line and in the "Your Scipio Family" sign-off, so both need replacing before the brochure is printed for another site
Each station is a heading plus one sentence, short enough to lift onto a table sign or a doorway label as well as into the handout
The "A Title I Family Event" line marks a specific funding stream; remove or reword it where that does not apply
The Icicle Arena is the only station that gives something away permanently - a book to take home - so it is the one to plan stock levels for
Read as a list, the four panels double as a planning checklist: a shop needs stock and helpers, Santa needs treats, the arena needs books, and Reindeer Rest needs cookies and milk
Skills covered
Family event communication - the brochure gives visitors a one-glance list of the four stations and what happens at each.
Station signage preparation - every station has its own heading and single sentence, ready to be reused as a sign at the station itself.
Adapting a template for another school - the slide format lets the school name, the station wording and the event label all be replaced.
Welcoming and closing an event - the outer panels carry a welcome line and a thank-you signed from the school community.

Questions teachers ask about this resource
Which stations does the brochure describe?
Four. Santa's Secret Shop for holiday shopping, See Santa! for a visit and a treat, the Icicle Arena where children browse books and pick one to take home, and Reindeer Rest for cookies and milk.
How much of the wording is tied to one particular school?
Three lines. The welcome names Scipio Elementary's Winter Wonderland, the sign-off reads "Your Scipio Family", and one panel is labelled "A Title I Family Event". The four station panels name no school and carry across unchanged.
