St. Patrick's Day Musical Parade

This resource, St. Patrick's Day Musical Parade is a musical parade for St. Patrick's Day so students may practice the recognition of musical notes within the context of the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Students will be looking for the leprechaun at the back of the parade. In order to find the leprechaun, students will be indicated throughout the story to find the correct musical patterns on each slide. If students click on the wrong one, they will be asked to try again, until the click on the correct one. Then a new musical pattern will appear and students will have to identify which is the correct pattern to match it in order to keep moving along. The story has a total of 6 musical patterns to identify, until they find and see the leprechaun to join the St. Patrick's Day parade. There are a total of 17 slides on this story which can be presented to the whole class, in small groups, or individually. This resource is designed for students in first through third grade.
