Prepare your students for end of year testing with these fun games. This file contains 2 Bingo Games of 8 questions each for 5th grade math review. Students love games and especially bingo. Students will create their bingo card with the answers given (not in correct order) and then work math problems to mark their answer on the bingo card. As a teacher I always had a small candy for the students who got a bingo. The topics covered are: convert between written and standard form of numbers, find the volume of rectangular prisms, multiplication of whole numbers, subtraction of mixed numbers, operations with decimals, division word problems, compare decimals, fraction word problems, rounding decimals, and place value. Full instructions for the class game are included as well as the answer key. You can have students to complete both games in the same day or in two different days. Just be sure students save their bingo card for the second day.

Practice addition up to 12 with these hands on addition mats. Students will have fun and stay engaged while addition and sort addition facts. What is Included: There are 6 different matching mats that focus on sums up to 12. Each mat includes two sums to sort addition problems by. There are 8 addition fact cards for each sum from 1 up to 12. How to Use: Students will take one mat and the corresponding addition facts and sort them around the correct sum. When to Use: Math Centers - Teachers can simply place the mats inside a math center for students to complete. Morning Tubs or Baskets - The mats and sorting cards can be placed in a tub or basket for students to complete while their classmates arrive to class. File Folder Game - The teacher can put the mats inside a file folder for students to sort the addition facts. Cookie Tray Activity - The teacher can attach magnets to the back of the addition cards for students to sort using a cookie tray or other magnetic surface. Small Group Activity - Teachers can use these mats in small groups to target students to need more practice with addition facts. Partner Activity - Students can work together in a math center or during independent practice time to sort through the addition facts. The addition sort activity is low prep. Only the cards need to be cut out. The mats and cards can be laminated for durability. If making a file folder game or cookie tray activity, the teacher will need to gather the necessary material to create these math centers. Skills Assessed: Solving Addition Problems Related Addition Facts The mats can be cut apart to allow for teachers to mix up the two sums being sorted. Cutting apart the sorts will allow it to be stored in a pencil box for easy set up and clean up.
