Within these worksheets is three activities that are designed to help students understand the concept of a glossary as well as to be able to create their own glossary. This download includes a printable worksheets with three activities, printable checklist with a checklist for individual students and for the class and finally a answer sheet with answers to the activities. The objectives of these worksheets is to deepen the understanding of exactly what a glossary is and how to create one. The first activity helps students to break down a word and describe a particular word like you would in a glossary, the second activity asks students to identify words within a passage and describe them and the final activity lists three words for students to describe with a sentence.
