Growing in Honesty – Reflection Worksheet

Growing in Honesty – Reflection Worksheet
ELA, Writing, Grade 2, 3, 4, 5, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets

Growing in Honesty is a 2-page printable designed for any and all of your learners. This is an assignment that encourages students to reflect in ways that they may not have before. On the first page, the directions for students are: Think back to the many times you have been honest in your life. Write about four of your memories from when you were younger until now. Then do the back. This first page features a graphic organizer with 4 boxes for students to write in. The second page (which could be printed on the backside) features a new set of directions: Now that you have spent some time reflecting, write about how being honest has helped you grow. How has it made you who you are? Think about how others perceive you as well. This is a great assignment that can be done at any time. -You may choose to do it at the start of the school year because it serves as a great ice breaker for your students, and you can have a baseline assessment for your students’ writing skills. -You may choose to insert it into any of your writing units. This is also a great activity for a counselor to implement with students, so they can dive even deeper into a conversation about honesty.
