When it is time to test your students' knowledge, hand out the vocabulary list that features the presented words. Then use the vocabulary test the next class to test their knowledge. If you want to give students extra practice with place value, I have just the resource for you. What You Get: This is aRounding to the Nearest 10 Worksheetthat was designed for 2nd grade students who are working on or have mastered this skill. It also works well as a review for students. It is a 2-page printable. Each page has a combination of 2-digit and 3-digit numbers. This provides an increase in complexity and differentiation for students. How To Implement This Resource: You can print off enough copies of this worksheet for each student to have. You may also choose to print only a few copies and laminate those. If you choose to laminate them, students can use dry erase markers to write answers. This is a great way to turn this into a math center or small group activity. Students will begin with practice for rounding to the nearest 10 and will move to rounding to the nearest 10 with 3-digit numbers. This is great for an independent assignment or homework. It also works well as a math quiz or assessment that could be scored for a grade. If you choose to have students complete it independently, allowing them to work with a partner or in small groups is also a great idea. An answer key is included. I hope you enjoy! Just open the file, put it on full screen mode and use the arrow keys to navigate through the slides. You will first see the definition and then the word with its prefix. Ideal! You can also use the printable handouts to let your students practice at home. Then test them either on the computer or on paper. The paper version has an answer key, so it is very easy to check each and every answer. The digital version is again a PDF based digital file. Just put it up on the screen and use the arrows. If you want to give students extra practice with odd and even numbers, I have just the resource for you. What You Get: This is an Odd or Even Worksheet Set 1that was designed for elementary students who are working on or have mastered this skill. It also works well as a review for students. There are 2 separate PDFs included. How To Implement This Resource: You can print off enough copies of these worksheets for each student to have. You may also choose to print only a few copies and laminate those. If you choose to laminate them, students can use dry erase markers to solve the problems. This is a great activity to place into a math center or small group activity. On one worksheet, students will solve the addition and subtraction problems. The answers to the problems will determine whether students color that shape red or blue. On the other worksheet, students will complete multiple tasks to assess their knowledge of odd or even. These worksheets can be completed independently. You may even choose to have students complete portions of the worksheet in small groups or partners. I hope you enjoy!
