Students can learn about the early lives of each explorer as well as their major discoveries and experiences.

For each of the explorers, this resource provides information about their lives, but also maps which can help them locate the routes these explorers took in the world. Maps included are ones that mark their routes, but also blank ones which students may use to illustrate the routes of their favorite explorers.

This resource also includes directions on how to complete an Explorers Project along with any worksheet need to organize their information and present to the class.

Project materials include image sheets, booklet pages, and a variety of map sheets.

Includes a PPT with 218 pages and a file with a total of 15 separate files (in PDF) for each of the explorers covered in this unit.
