What is Included:

Each beginning sound focuses on the most common sound of each consonant as well as the short sound of each vowel.
How to Use:
Students will take a task card from the box and use playdough or clay to build the object on the card.
Students will stay engaged with practicing beginning sounds while building their fine motor skills by building shapes with playdough.
When to Use:
Literacy or Fine Motor Center - Place the cards and playdough in the center for students to complete.
Morning Basket or Tubs - Place the task cards and playdough in a basket or tub for students to work on beginning sounds while they wait for all of their classmates to arrive.
Quiet Time Activity - Teachers can allow students who do not nap to work on these alphabet playdough task cards quietly while their classmates rest.

The task cards are a low prep activity. The cards just need to be printed and cut apart and placed inside a task box. This task box center makes for an easy activity to set up, clean up and store.
