AM Words Matching Mats

Students can practice reading comprehension skills with these AM word family mats. Students can practice reading AM words in isolation and in the context of sentences. The words in this set follow a CVC or CCVC spelling pattern.

This resource includes one word mat and one sentence mat, both for reading AM words in insolation and in context. There are also picture cards that correspond with each word and sentence.

To complete this activity, students will read each AM word or sentence on the mat and then match the corresponding pictures. Students can work independently or with a partner to complete this activity.
