Apple Counting to 10 Counting Mats

These apple themed counting mats are the perfect autumn activity for students to use a hands on approach for counting to 10. These mats are fun and engaging for preschoolers and kindergartners who are learning to count up to ten.

What is Included in this Set:

This set contains two counting mats for students to practice their counting skills. The first mat is the "build it" mat where students will link counting cubes together to build up to each number. The count and match mat allows students to count the apples in the basket then place the correct number on top.

Students will love the fun apple theme giving them a fall filled activity to practice counting to 10, being sure to use one to one correspondence when counting each apple.

When to Use:

The built it mat is no prep. It just needs to be printed, and laminated for durability if desired. The count and match mat is also no prep, but the number cards do need to be cut apart. The teacher may decided to make a file folder game out of the count and match set by adding velcro to the baskets and to the back of the number cards.
