Numbers 1-10 - Play Dough Mats and Recipe

Numbers 1-10 - Play Dough Mats and Recipe
Math, Early Math, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, Activities

The play dough mats are suitable for preschool, 1st grade beginners, special education, and also for use at home to promote numbers, quantities, and motor skills. They provide children with a playful and creative way to learn digits and quantities. The mats are ideal for number stations, learning trays, or independent work. You will receive several mats for molding numbers up to 10. Each mat has the same task: -The children shape the digit with play dough. -The children mold and place the corresponding quantity as apples on the apple tree as an unstructured quantity. -The children mold and place balls in the corresponding number on the ten frame. -The children match picture cards with the corresponding finger image to the respective play dough mat. These can be fixed with a play dough ball on the mat. For differentiation, finger images with one hand (numbers up to 5) and two hands (numbers up to 10) are available. It is best to laminate and cut out the cards. The cards can be attached to the play dough mats with a play dough ball. -The children write the number with a dry-erase marker on the number sequence. Each task type is visualized with symbols so that the students do not need reading skills to complete the tasks. For differentiation, there are two versions of the play dough mats for each number: 1)Number to trace and predetermined quantities of apples on the tree. 2)Number must be written freely, and the quantities for the apple tree must be counted independently. Tip: The two versions (easy and difficult) can be printed double-sided (duplex printing) for differentiation of the individual numbers. If you only want one version, select "odd pages" (Version 1) or "even pages" (Version 2) to print from page 7 onwards. To prevent the play dough from leaving marks on the paper, the copy template should be laminated or placed in a plastic sleeve. Additionally, you will find a practical DIY recipe for inexpensive play dough that you can quickly make yourself. Best regards Doreen Blumhagen – Die Relitante

Silly Dragon Crafts - Coloring - Bookmarks - Geometric Designs
Creative Arts, Geometry, Math, Shapes, Early Math, Patterns, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, Crafts, Activities, Centers, Projects, Coloring Pages, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables

These dragons are so silly and so much fun for kids to color. As is this entire dragon crafts activity pack. Kids absolutely love these dragons as well with their simple, thick outlines, they are a great way to give your students a break from their work and also be used as a reward for good behavior and an assignment done well. Since so many kids nowadays love dinosaurs and dragons, I thought it would be fun to create a dragon crafts activity pack. The simple drawings are perfect for preschoolers and prereaders. The bookmark designs, which are smaller and more complex, can be enjoyed by older students as well. There are five different dragons on 8.5 x 11 for a total of 10 posters - 5 of the dragons contain a colored example that children can follow to help with color recognition. These do not have a color border. The other 5 dinosaurs are black and white by themselves and contain a colored border. Once colored, the posters can be used to decorate bulletin boards, classrooms, and home refrigerators. They could even be framed and given as gifts! They can be printed and used again and again! In addition, there are 6 double-sided bookmarks with different geometric designs, patterns, and dragon pictures for coloring and printing. Geometry is math, so without realizing it, when your students color in the geometric designs, they are in essence practicing math skills. You can ask your students to identify the shapes and patterns on the bookmarks while they are coloring. You can also teach about shapes and patterns while they are keeping their hands busy coloring them. This can be super helpful in reducing distractibility. The geometric designs are great for developing familiarity with shapes and patterns. Plus, bookmarks make great gifts and encourage reading. The format is pdf downloadable and there are 15 pages, including the cover page. There is no need for an answer key as this dragon craft activity pack is pure fun with a little arts and crafts and math snuck in.

Math, Numbers, Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, Activities, Games

1. Introduction It is known by teachers, managers and all educational entities, even ordinary citizens, that mathematics is fundamental in daily life, because it provides multiple benefits at an academic and cultural level as well as in solving problems of daily life. 2.Objective The objective of this game is to promote the development of mathematics and also: -Develop logical and analytical thinking, which implies the ability to think logically, and approach problems in a structured way, whose skills are transferable to many aspects of daily life. -Encourage problem-solving skills, because mathematics will teach students to approach problems in a more systemic way by finding effective solutions. -Encourage abstract thinking, because students will often see that mathematics involves many symbolic and abstract concepts, and working with these concepts from the time they are in school will help them to better understand complex phenomena when they are adults and be able to solve problems in various areas. -It will promote their preparation for technical and scientific careers: as is known, many careers that our students will choose in the future, such as science, technology, engineering, require solid mathematical knowledge to carry out research, solve problems and for the development of new technologies. 3.Order, scheme and stages - Introduce your math class with a relaxing song. Then tell your students that today they will do a fun activity using dinosaurs. Perhaps you can do a dynamic alluding to dinosaurs to motivate the students. 4.Grades or ages This game is designed for children ages 5 to 7. Lower primary school children. 5.
