Area & Circumference of Circles MAZE

This resource was created to help students practice the following 7th grade math geometry standard:

CCSS7.G.B.4

Know the formulas for the area and circumference of a circle and use them to solve problems; give an informal derivation of the relationship between the circumference and area of a circle.

This resource contains the following items:

1) Area & Circumference of Circles MAZE Activity

---Students will be given either a radius or a diameter and asked to find either area or circumference

---Answers may be left in terms of pi or may use 3.14 for pi (students will discover which form as they analyze their options)

2) Optional Student Work Space

---More than enough spaces in case mistakes are made

---Formulas are displayed at the top of the page
