AUTUMN ADJECTIVES Worksheets and Activities

While each of the 6 worksheets focuses on adjectives, your learners will also practice spelling, categorizing, writing, and identifying synonyms. The worksheets are great for individual or group work, quiet seat work, and/or homework. When you learners need a break, engage them in a cooperative group game that focuses on finding the most unique adjective to describe an Autumn-themed picture. The 3-part “Describing Pumpkins” activity is a wonderful way for your learners to describe a pumpkin while using their 5 senses and creating a piece of artwork in the process. It’s a bit of science, art, and ELA all rolled into one. Finally, as a means of assessing your learners in their levels of mastery, there is a quiz presented within 12 Power Point slides.
