About This Product

This resource is a set of Alphabet Flash Cards showing capital and lower case letters with a corresponding picture for that sound and the BSL sign. These could be used as flash cards for a lesson or as a display.

These can be used a classroom with deaf students as a learning reminder however they can also be a useful display in any classroom for several reasons:

1. Inclusion: Displaying sign language in the classroom can help make the learning environment more inclusive for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. It allows them to access information in a way that is meaningful to them and promotes their participation in classroom activities.

2. Communication: Sign language can be a helpful tool for communication, even for students who are not deaf or hard of hearing. For example, students who have speech or language impairments may find it easier to communicate using sign language.

3. Multimodal Learning: Displaying sign language in the classroom can also promote multimodal learning, which refers to the use of multiple modes of communication and representation to enhance learning. This can be particularly helpful for students who learn best through visual or kinaesthetic modalities.
