Cell Membrane and Transport Introduction - This Introductory Biology lesson Lesson discusses both the Cell Membrane (structure and function) as well as the different types of transport across the membrane. It is geared towards students who are unfamiliar with both. It outlines the structures involved in maintaining a selective internal environment as well as Passive vs. Active Transport. Furthermore, it mentions osmosis and provides multiple guided opportunities for the students to create Thinking Maps.
