About This Product

Engaging Hands on Math Activity for Pre-K and Kindergarten, even Beginning First. Also good for ESL, Resource, or SPED.

Counting Firetrucks Clip It and Flip It it is an easy to make and use resource. It includes counting task cards with self-checking independence. Answers are printed on the back of these cards with double-sided printing.

When using this Counting Firetrucks Clip It and Flip It resource, students will count the firetrucks on the card and attach a clothespin or clip to their answer. After clipping, they flip the card to check the answer. Great for fine motor development. Use this activity in your math centers or small groups. Put the cards and some clips in task boxes or individual work baskets. This is also a good take home or early-finisher activity. EASY clean up. I teach my students to take all the cards and the clips out of the task box. As they clip, flip, and check their answer, they put the card back IN the box! They use the same clip over and over.

Included in this Counting Firetrucks Clip It and Flip It are 20 clip it and flip it cards and one task box label. 4 cards per page. Cards are made with straight-line cutting; which makes it easier for you.

Large cards, with the clip selection at the bottom, making it easier for left- or right-handed students. Clip it and Flip it cards help develop/strengthen fine motor skills while working on counting and number recognition.

I print cards on heavy card stock, laminate for durability, and cut. I place all cards with 3 or 4 clothespins in a task box to add to my center selections. My students LOVE Clip and Flip cards! Teachers love the ease of use and so easy to swap out sets of cards to keep centers interesting and students engaged. One teacher even used them as an assessment tool - she had students in a small group at her table, and gave them each a few cards and transparent counters. She used a checklist for marking.

You will download a PDF of 17 pages. Print pages 6 through 17 double-sided. If your printer does not allow double-sided printing, print odd pages first, then place them in the printer and print even pages.
