Compare and Contrast Archimedes + Euclid Learning Packet

If your students are studying and learning about a variety of influential leaders in class, it may be easy for them to get people mixed up. Having learning materials that will help students keep information sorted is beneficial to their overall comprehension.

This is a Compare and Contrast Archimedes and Euclid Learning Packet. It is designed for your upper elementary students in 3rd – 5th grade. The objective is for students to be able to read and comprehend two different biographies and then compare and contrast that information using a Venn diagram.

This packet includes:

--A 2-page biography on Euclid

--A 2-page biography on Archimedes

--A Euclid poster

--An Archimedes poster

--1 Venn diagram to compare the two scientists

--Answer keys for the biographies

Each biography is a fill in the blank.

These activities can be completed as a whole group, or in small groups, or independently.

This makes a simple resource for a substitute to implement.
