If Break Were a Book Writing Activity

Kids create a plan for a book about their break. Thanksgiving/Fall/Winter/Spring/or Summer break options are all included. This activity serves as a great first day back from break writing prompt and is super fun to share out with the class or small groups!

And though we don't like to think about this.... These serve as excellent sub plans for ELA if you happen to be gone the first day back from break!

If Thanksgiving break was a book- Includes a K-1st, 2-3rd, or 4-5th version.

If fall break was a book- Includes a K-1st, 2-3rd, or 4-5th version

If winter break was a book- Includes a K-1st, 2-3rd, or 4-5th version

If spring break was a book- Includes a K-1st, 2-3rd, or 4-5th version

If summer break was a book- Includes a K-1st, 2-3rd, or 4-5th version
