KS1 science - spring game

Help children learn to recognise and name common spring flowers/animals etc…
with our picture cards. Play Snap on two levels of difficulty:

Start by matching like for like (cards with both pictures and words) for ages 3+ and progress to the harder version which involves matching without clues.
The words are phonetically coded to help with decoding, though it is not necessary to be able to read the words - naming is the aim of the game.

Other uses:** These cards can also be used:

for sorting activities (e.g. frogspawn/tadpole/frog; flower (inc. catkins); young: lambs, chicks, tadpoles; etc…)
To stimulate discussion
To encourage children to look for these signs of spring!
