This is a short Martin Luther King Jr. read aloud that I made for young children. It explains who Dr. King was, using very simple words and sentences. I created it for kindergarten and first grade students who are just beginning to learn about kindness, fairness, and being respectful to others. This resource is meant to be an easy introduction to MLK Day in January. It also works well for young learners who are new to this topic.
