Here is a resource to practice Financial Literacy skills within elementary schools and to have fun while completing the tasks.
Students will complete Financial Literacy tasks by shading (popping) each "pop it" icon. For every amount presented, students will be asked to "pop it". Specific instructions on what students are to do are included in this resource. The coloring of the "pop it" instruction may vary, and students are allowed to use any color pattern. Additionally, answers to all the practice exercises are included.
Allow your students to have fun with Math! The use of this Math - Pop it fun for Financial Literacy - Money will allow your students to learn as this is a very hands-on resource.
Currently, the focus is on pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. I have included American and Canadian coins for students to learn with either type of money.
This Math - Pop it fun for Financial Literacy - Money resource was designed for students in elementary schools. It can be implemented in pairs, small groups, or as a whole class activity.
