These dragons are so silly and so much fun for kids to color. As is this entire dragon crafts activity pack. Kids absolutely love these dragons as well with their simple, thick outlines, they are a great way to give your students a break from their work and also be used as a reward for good behavior and an assignment done well. Since so many kids nowadays love dinosaurs and dragons, I thought it would be fun to create a dragon crafts activity pack. The simple drawings are perfect for preschoolers and prereaders. The bookmark designs, which are smaller and more complex, can be enjoyed by older students as well. There are five different dragons on 8.5 x 11 for a total of 10 posters - 5 of the dragons contain a colored example that children can follow to help with color recognition. These do not have a color border. The other 5 dinosaurs are black and white by themselves and contain a colored border. Once colored, the posters can be used to decorate bulletin boards, classrooms, and home refrigerators. They could even be framed and given as gifts! They can be printed and used again and again! In addition, there are 6 double-sided bookmarks with different geometric designs, patterns, and dragon pictures for coloring and printing. Geometry is math, so without realizing it, when your students color in the geometric designs, they are in essence practicing math skills. You can ask your students to identify the shapes and patterns on the bookmarks while they are coloring. You can also teach about shapes and patterns while they are keeping their hands busy coloring them. This can be super helpful in reducing distractibility. The geometric designs are great for developing familiarity with shapes and patterns. Plus, bookmarks make great gifts and encourage reading. The format is pdf downloadable and there are 15 pages, including the cover page. There is no need for an answer key as this dragon craft activity pack is pure fun with a little arts and crafts and math snuck in.

I created this activities pack because so many kids like dinosaurs, and learning the alphabet is such a foundational skill, sometimes one that isn't learned easily by kids. Teach your pre=readers and reinforce struggling readers learning the alphabet with bright colors and fun dinosaur pictures. Each letter of the alphabet is on a separate page to color as shown in the preview. There are 26 different Bible verses that students can trace and learn and even memorize. And 26 different flashcards with each letter of the alphabet on a separate card, the alphabet in the flashcards is a dinosaur font and can be colored in. Most of the products I create are designed for multiple ages in mind. For example, this product contains simple super large letters of the alphabet that can be colored in even by a toddler who can hold a crayon. Also, this product also contains 16 different dinosaur outlines that can be traced and/or colored. Each is on a separate page and includes the name of the particular dinosaur. Dinosaurs have long names, so these pages can be used to familiarize children with different dinosaurs and even be used for a spelling test where your students have to be able to correctly spell the dinosaurs. Or they could be asked to alphabetize the dinosaur sheets in order. Also included in this awesome dinosaur and alphabet activity pack is 16 different dinosaur outlines to color (one on each page) with the name of the dinosaur spelled out in a font that can be colored in. Dinosaurs included: Acanthopholis Ankylosaurus Dilophosaurus Diplodocus Gallimimus Iguanodon Ouranosaurus Parasaurolophus Pteranodon Saurolophus Stegosaurus Styracosaurus Triceratops Tyrannosaurus Rex Valdosaurus Velociraptor As you can see, the dinosaur names are challenging even for the best spellers, including me! In this product, you will receive 5 sports-themed "get to know you" SEL coloring pages. These are great icebreakers and team bonding handouts for coaches of all sports. The sports themes are soccer, basketball, volleyball, and football, and there is a water bottle in case your sport is not represented. The handouts are geared toward team players but each text box is FULLY EDITABLE so if this is for your classroom, you can change the text boxes words and phrases. No problem! The prompts are; Favorite Snack, Favorite Drink, Favorite Show, Name, Age, Goal For This Season, and Favorite Color and there are many spaces for students to color and add their own personalized design. Again, this is fully editable so it can be a classroom activity where students pick out a handout of their choice based on their favorite sport or they can pick the water bottle and write down their favorite sport such as swimming, golf, lacrosse, baseball, etc. The goal of this product is to help other students get to know each other. This is also a fun way to do "secret pals" for your team and have players put certain things they enjoy! This would make a very colorful bulletin board display with all of the colorful and individualized art on display. Students are encouraged to draw, write, and really personalize their handouts. This is great for grades second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, etc. This is wonderful for P.E. teachers, coaches as well as teachers. The PDF has a link inside the image for you to click on it and then you will be prompted to "make a copy", you will click "yes" and then you have a copy of the presentation. This is where you can print off whichever page you wish as well as edit the text boxes if they are not the prompts you wish for. You know your classroom or team the best so you can tweak it to your own prompts.

Kelso's Choices SEL Coloring Pages and Activities

In this SEL coloring page resource, you will receive 3 different Kelso's Choices extension activities. Plus one additional maze in the color green. There is a black and white frog maze, a color by Kelso's Choice frog to color in based on some of the Kelso's choices, and a draw a line from the picture of Kelso the frog doing the Kelso Choice on the right, written out. Kelso's Choices is a great conflict resolution framework that explains 9 different ways to solve small problems; walk away, talk it out, apologize, ignore, go to another game, wait and cool off, tell them to stop, share and take turns, and make a deal. These choices can teach students how to solve small problems by themselves, thus reducing the need for tattling. You can use these activities after teaching an SEL class on Kelso's choices, big and small problems, and which adult to tell if they are having a big problem. I teach students that if a situation is scary or unsafe, or someone is about to get hurt, they need to tell an adult and it becomes a big problem I also tell students that if they are having a small problem that simply will not go away using a Kelso's choice, they do need to go to an adult for guidance, such as a teacher, parent, babysitter, etc. Otherwise, if someone if cutting them in line, teasing them, taking a marker, not letting them play, not playing by the rules, or doing something to them that is frustrating or annoying, they can empower themselves to use a Kelso's Choice.
