Mother's Day Activity

Students love the opportunity to make something for their parents. This is a fun Mother's Day activity where students get to finish sentences about their mom.

It is two pages that students can color and make their own. The first page says Happy Mother's Day. On the second page are three sentences frames for students to finish. The first sentence the students write about why they love their mom. For the second sentence, students give reasons why their mom is special. Finally, students write what their mom does to make them feel special.

If you teach younger students, you may want to brainstorm ideas as a class. If you teach older students, they will be able to fill it out on their own. If you have anyone struggling, you could help them one on one.

In addition to these worksheets, you could have students create a cover page for their Mother's Day activity. They would then staple them together. Or, you could use the first page as a cover.

Mom's love anything made by their children. When the students answer questions and finish sentences, it's always fun as a mom to see what their responses will be.
