About This Product

This is a Numbers Tracing Packet.

Students will practice with the numbers 0-10 in this packet. Practicing writing numerals is not always fun. It can seem boring to some students. Help this skill become a little more engaging with their own writing packet.

Objective: Students will be able to write numbers 0-10 correctly

Grades: Pre-K or Kindergarten

Standard: K.C.C.A.3: Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).

K.C.C.B.4: Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.

Lesson Ideas: They can practice using a crayon and a pencil.

Variations:

  • - Students can go over each number more than one time with a different shade of crayon to make "rainbow writing".

  • - You can put the printed papers in plastic sleeves and use dry erase markers to use the same paper over and over again.

  • - Students can use colored pencil instead of regular pencils.

  • - One students can trace a number with a highlighter than pass it to their partner who can trace over the highlighter with a pencil or crayon

These are great for morning work and small groups. You can print one page at a time, or staple together to make a book.
