Polynesian Unit

As several of my students are still interested in the Moana movie I decided to make .this mini unit on Polynesia for them.

Lessons in the unit include:

• - Polynesian Geography

• - The History and Culture of Polynesia

• - Polynesian Myths

With this resource, students will learn about the geography of Polynesia using different reading and mapping sheets.
Materials included are also available for students to learn about the history and culture of Polynesia.
Teachers can use a PowerPoint presentation to help guide students through the lesson materials.

Additionally, reading sheets are included to teach students about three important Polynesian myths: Rangi and Papa, The Story of Maui, and Maui and the Sun
