1. This script DOES NOT require students to perform in any traumatic contexts and/or roles and does not intend to trivialize any traumatic events. All roles occur years after the historical figures have overcome traumatic experiences. This script features commentary about the accomplishments of these historical figures despite the traumas that they faced.
2. This play runs for about seven to ten minutes.
3. Omit certain words in the script if necessary to make performing the roles easier for students. Most students enjoy the challenge, but omitting words is a quick fix if needed.
4. Watch video 1 or video 2 of some students performing our other plays in this format to get some ideas for your students.
