Summer Vacation Writing Prompts | End of Year Activity

These writing templates are a cute way to let your students plan and share their summer activities with you and their classmates. Sometimes it’s nice to have a writing project on something that isn’t just a rectangle sheet. Let them cut, color, and write and create a little item on which to write their special summer plans! You could also use this as a way they could report AFTER summer about what they did!

How To Use This:

Choose which prompt templates will best fit your students’ needs. Spend some time discussing and brainstorming what they’d like to do in the summer or what they plan to do. Dream a little! Share as a class, with groups, or with a partner. Maybe even encourage them to make a brainstorming list before they choose a topic. Have them write about one specific plan or activity or create a summary of their summer vacation! Have them cut out the summer shape and color it when they’re done writing! Display on the walls, on the door, or in the hallway to get your students excited about upcoming summer!
