Tales and Tiles Phonics Readers Set - Bundle

This language arts-based resource is designed for grades K-2 with an emphasis on phonics patterns. Matching printable tiles are provided to help children recognize patterns. Students build fluency through word pattern recognition. This resource combines all four resources into one bundle. Included are: Vowel Pairs, Short & Long Vowels, Consonant Pairs, and Beginning Blends. Vowel Pairs highlights words with different medial vowel pairs. These include digraphs, diphthongs and r-influenced. Students will blend consonant sounds with long vowel sounds to read the words found in this resource. Short & Long Vowels highlights words with short vowels and final silent e words. Students will blend consonants with medial short vowel sounds to read the words found in this resource. Students will also blend consonants with long vowel sounds. Consonant Pairs highlights words with different consonant pairs. These include digraphs, the qu blend, and silent letter words. Students recognize focus consonant pairs at the beginning or end of a word. Beginning Blends highlights words with two beginning blends. These include words that begin with the same sound. Students will be able to tell the difference between words that have different beginning blends. A teacher guide is included.
