What You Get:
This is a Things I See Around the House Worksheet that is ideal for elementary students! The objective is to correctly differentiate between living and non-living things.
How To Implement This Resource:
This is a great activity that pairs well with a lesson on living and non-living things. Whether you have just introduced this lesson or are in the review phase, students will love a chance to explore this topic further. You can print off a class set for your students and provide it to students as a homework assignment.
Encourage students to look around their home to find living things and list them in the correct category. Then have students look for non-living things and list them in the next category. In order for students to categorize items correctly, they will need a basic understanding of what each of these category’s entail. When students return with their completed task, allow some students to share their lists with the class.
I hope you enjoy!
