Ways to Make a Number is a one-page addition recording sheet for Kindergarten and Grade 1 practice. Choose a target number and write it in the heading box. Students record two addends and the sum in each of seven blank equations.
For a hands-on activity, supply two-sided counters and ask students to split the same total in different ways before recording each combination. Counters are not included.
