Eight preformatted 'Key Details' question cards are each tied to a specific picture book — Green Eggs and Ham, Little Bear, Are You My Mother?, Put Me in the Zoo, Frog and Toad Together, Owl at Home, Pancakes for Breakfast, and Hi! Fly Guy — and repeat the same four prompts: who are the characters, what is your favourite part, where does the story take place, and what is the main idea. Two additional blank cards let teachers write in a book and author of their own choosing so the activity can extend beyond the eight titles provided. Students answer the four questions after a read-aloud, using prompting and support as directed on the title page. Every card carries the watermark 'www.HaveFunTeaching.com.'
