About this resource
It takes practice to read informational texts, and having clear visual aids in the classroom really helps. Students can identify and comprehend the elements they come across in nonfiction books, articles, and digital information with the help of this collection of 16 nonfiction text features posters.
Each poster is printed in full colour, is letter-sized (8.5" x 11"), and has enough contrast to be readable from across a classroom. They don't need to be reformatted or prepared further; they can be printed directly from the download. Print them in smaller sizes for student notebooks and reading folders, or laminate them for a long-lasting wall display.
If your curriculum includes nonfiction reading, this collection provides students with the language and visual literacy they need to engage those works confidently.
