Expanded Form: Whole Numbers and Decimals

The worksheet asks pupils to decompose numbers from standard form into sums of place values. Both large whole numbers and decimals through thousandths appear, so pupils attend to positions on each side of the decimal point. Ask them to read a number aloud before expanding it, then compare the sum with the original value.
