Prefix CO- Words: Sentence Reading Rings

Practice reading words with the prefix CO- with these sentence reading rings. Students will read words with the prefix co- in the context of sentences. Each card also includes a bold and colourful image to illustrate each sentence and to help students to learn the meanings of each word.

What is Included:

This resource includes one reading ring for the prefix co. There are seven cards each featuring a different word with the prefix co. The words included in this set are: coexist, copilot, coworkers, cooperate, coherent, coincident, and coed.

When to Use

• Early Finishers - If students finish their work early, they can use these reading rings for extra practice.

How to Make:

Teachers will print out the pages and cut each card apart. Once cut apart, the teacher can choose to laminate the cards for durability. Then, use a hole punch to punch a hole in the top left corner of the card. Place the cards on a ring to create your reading ring, making sure the cover card is on top.
