What Rhymes with -ick? Cut-and-Paste Word Sort

The main sorting page displays three columns labeled with different word endings. Learners cut out the picture pieces from the accompanying sheets, say each pictured word, and paste it beneath the ending with which it rhymes. The activity therefore relies on listening for the final sound pattern rather than matching initial letters or printed vocabulary. Separating the sorting mat from the cut pieces also supports guided oral rehearsal before any pieces are glued down.
