The manga and anime franchise One Piece is the subject of a nonfiction-style reading passage covering creator Eiichiro Oda's inspirations, the series' 1997 manga debut and 1999 anime adaptation, its main character Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates crew, and its expansion into films, video games, and a Netflix live-action adaptation.
