About this resource
Skill-related fitness components are introduced through a small set of PE classroom posters, each defining one of six terms in a single plain-language sentence: balance ("to keep a steady position so you do not fall"), coordination ("the ability to use different parts of the body together smoothly and efficiently"), power ("the ability to combine strength and speed"), speed ("the time it takes you to move a certain distance"), agility ("the ability to change directions quickly"), and reaction time ("the time it takes to respond to a stimulus"). As a display resource rather than a task-based worksheet, it is intended for teachers to hang in a gym or classroom as a quick-reference vocabulary chart for PE terminology.

Teaching tips
Display the posters in the gym or PE classroom as a standing reference students can point to when describing what a drill is building.
Introduce one term at a time when teaching a related skill (e.g., discuss "agility" right before a direction-change drill) rather than presenting all six terms at once.
Skills covered
PE vocabulary display — teachers post concise definitions of skill-related fitness components for ongoing classroom reference.
