skip counting by 2s bingo - boards 16-20

skip counting by 2s bingo - boards 16-20
Math, Patterns, Early Math, Numbers, Grade 1, 2, 3, Activities, Games

Need a fun, engaging activity for practicing skip counting by 2 with your kiddos? This math bingo game is perfect for getting your students focused on skip counting in 2s! Preparation: Print and laminate enough Bingo Boards for each student to have one Optional: print, cut and laminate the Playing Squares Print, cut and laminate the Calling Cards. Lamination is optional, but recommended, as it will ensure that the game remains in good condition and can be used for many years to come! To avoid excessive printing and laminating, the Playing Squares could be replaced with other manipulatives such as buttons or counters. Alternatively, students could mark squares off on their Bingo Boards with dry erase markers and then simply clean the boards again after playing (provided that you have laminated the boards) How to Play: Each student needs a Bingo Board and at least 7 Playing Squares (or other manipulatives or a dry erase marker) Shuffle the Calling Cards and place them in a pile. Draw a Calling Card and call out and/or display the contents of the card. Each student looks on their Bingo Board for a block that matches the Calling Card. If they find one, they cover that block with a Playing Square. Draw a new Calling Card and repeat the process. The game continues until somebody wins. To win, a student must shout out “BINGO!” when they have covered three blocks in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally). If the Calling Cards run out before anybody wins, simply shuffle them again and continue playing. Please note: Sometimes there may be more than one block on the Bingo Board that matches the Calling Card. The student may only cover one block on a turn. Once that turn is over, the Playing Square may not be moved to cover a different block. This resource includes 5 different bingo board, in colour as well as black and white. If you would like more bingo boards to use for your class, you can find them in my store. I also have other skip counting bingo games available - CLICK HERE to check them out! Introduces The Ending CK: Play Fun Games

Introduces The Ending CK: Play Fun Games
ELA, Language Development, Phonics, Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, Activities, Games

Play Fun Games To Introduce The Phonic Sound 'ck' (3 years +) Cut out the words and use the suggestions to make sentences with the child (children). Next, cut out the next set of words and sort them into sound sets by placing them into Top Cat's fat tummy. How To Use The Pre Reader Work Packs At Guinea Pig Education we believe children do not need to spend years learning reading skills; this innovative new scheme teaches children to read in just six months to a year. A non reader should start with our pre reading material. The Pre reader work packs use phonics or the sounds in words. The child can learn a series of phonic sounds, which give him or her a 'tool' to work out nearly 80% of words in the English language. The other 20% of words will be learnt by looking and saying the words. In these packs, the child (or group of children) will be taught to recognise initial sounds as in 'b', 'd' and vowel sounds as in 'a' - c...a...t. They will practise running sounds together to make words. The sentence maker will help him or her to organise the words into sentences. The packs are easy to use with clear instructions, for the adult to use with a child (or group of children). The structured material encourages the child to practise word building and sentence making using phonic sounds. To make learning a really fun experience, the material contains word games , like snap and bingo. The child (children) can move on when the adult is confident the sounds have been learnt. Learn To Read With Phonics Pre Reader packs are designed to start children reading who have not done any reading before. They are a starting point for learning to read with phonics. Children can start at three or four, if they are ready to concentrate. The Pre Reader packs introduce the 26 sounds of the alphabet, the skills of sounding out words with phonics and blending phonic sounds to make three and four letter words. The child (children) should practise the material each day and move on only when the child is familiar with the material. The course is structured. Each new sound builds on the one that went before. Tell the child (children) to personalise the drawings, adding to them, using their own ideas. Play the games . Repeat the exercises many times until they know the words. They should have fun learning to read.

Introducing the "Room Sorting" activity - a fun and educational task-based learning experience for children! This activity aims to help young learners understand the concept of sorting common items that belong in different rooms of a house. The activity involves a set of cards with pictures of various household items, such as a bed, clothes, dresser, pillow, lamp, and mirror. Each card is designated to a specific room, such as "bedroom," "bathroom," "kitchen," or "living room." Here is just one of the ideas you can use with this activity - The learners are presented with the activity sorting cards and are asked to sort them into different piles according to their designated room. As the children sort the cards, they will be asked to identify the objects in each card, and to explain why they belong in a particular room. This will help them to develop their vocabulary, categorization skills, and logical reasoning. Another Idea is one on one where the learner is presented with two different rooms cards and presented a sorting card one at a time and asked the learner what the sorting card is and which room it belongs. Give the card to the learner and have the learner add the sorting card to the correct room. This task-based learning approach provides a fun and engaging way for children to learn about sorting and categorizing common household items. Through this activity , children will develop their cognitive skills, communication skills, and creativity while also gaining a better understanding of the world around them. This activity is easy to create and assemble. Print, laminate and cut once. It can be stored by coil binding or three hole punched and placed in a binder. One other way of storing this activity is by hole punching and placing ring binders through the holes. Enjoy Many years of teaching IFIO girl

Need a fun, engaging activity for practicing number bonds to 30 with your kiddos? This math bingo game is perfect for getting your students focused on number bonds for numbers 1-30!
