The topics covered are: convert between written and standard form of numbers, find the volume of rectangular prisms, multiplication of whole numbers, subtraction of mixed numbers, operations with decimals, division word problems, compare decimals, fraction word problems, rounding decimals, and place value. Full instructions for the class game are included as well as the answer key. You can have students to complete both games in the same day or in two different days. Just be sure students save their bingo card for the second day.

Have students make a 4 x 4 Bingo Board or pass out the included blank boards. Students will fill in the numbers 1 -16 in random order on their board. This way everyone will have all answers, but will have a different board. 2. As the teacher, you will choose the questions you ask, one question per number. Use a highlighter to mark the questions you ask. This way you will keep track and not repeat an answer. Each time you play Bingo, use a different color highlighter. 3. Ask about 8- 10 questions per game. You will usually have 5-6 students to bingo with this many questions, if you have at least 20 students. I give out a piece of candy for bingos. 4. You have enough questions for about 12-15 games .

Place Value Loop Cards

Place Value Loop Cards
Math, Place Value, Grade 3, 4, 5, Activities, Games

If you want to give students extra practice with place value, I have just the resource for you. What You Get: This is a set of Place Value Loop Cards that was designed for 4th and 5th grade students who are working on or have mastered place value with higher digit numbers. It may be a great fit for 3rd grade students. It also works well as a review for students. It is a 1-page printable. How To Implement This Resource: This is a game that is meant to be played as a whole group. Whenever you are able to carve out some time during your math instruction, students will love getting a chance to play this game. The game will flow much smoother for a group of students who have a good understanding of place value. These Loop Cards mimic the game I Have, Who Has? You will print off the entire page and should laminate it for durability. Cut out each of the cards. There are 24 cards included. All cards have to be used for the game to work. If you have a classroom of 24 students, there will be an even distribution. If you have less than 24 students, you can take the extra cards and join in on the game or you can give more than 1 card to your students who have fully mastered this skill. Whoever has the START card will begin the game. Students will continue with the cards by saying the number they have and asking the question on their card to find the next number. This game will continue until they have reached the person with the END card. You can store cards in a small plastic baggie or hole punch them and place them on a binder ring. I hope you enjoy! Ratio Matching Game
Math, Fractions, Grade 6, 7, 8, Activities, Games

If you are looking for engaging math games for your middle school students to complete, I have just the resource for you. If your students are learning about or have mastered ratios, this is a Ratios Matching Game that they will enjoy. This activity is great for 6th – 8th grade students. The objective of the game is for students to select the correct explanation card that matches the ratio picture. For each ratio problem, there are 3 cards: 1. A picture of circles representing a ratio 2. A correct explanation for the picture 3. An incorrect explanation There are 5 problem sets per page with a total of 20 problem cards. Students can complete this activity independently if you wanted it to be an early finisher activity. It also works great for a partner activity or small group competition. Partners can work together to decide which is the correct answer. If you wanted to make it into a competition, there would need to be a game leader in charge of handling the cards and determining the correct answer. Whichever player chooses the correct answer first, gets to keep the card. Whoever has the most cards at the end of the game is the winner! I hope you enjoy!
