Laminate all pages of the activity book to make them durable and long-lasting. You can use a laminating machine or visit a local print shop for lamination. Cut out all pages along the dotted lines, but be careful not to cut the front and back pages of the book. Cut out all individual squares and attach velcro to the areas where symbols for velcro are indicated. This will allow kids to stick and remove the squares from the book. I Keep My Clothes On – Social Story

Social stories use a patient and reassuring tone to teach children about social situations in a way that can be easily understood. Social stories are particularly useful for children on the autistic spectrum for whom social cues can be challenging and who often suffer anxiety if they do not know what to expect from a situation however social stories can also be useful for any child who is struggling to understand a situation or concept or needs help to understand a social skill or social cue, expectations, perspectives, common responses or is troubled about an upcoming event. This social story is to help explain why we must keep our clothes on in public to help children that are getting undressed in front of others or in inappropriate places. Many elementary students and students on the Autism Spectrum struggle with identifying how they feel and emotional regulation. Social stories can be a great tool to help bridge that gap and reduce behaviors! This social story focuses on how to know when your students feel angry by practicing interoception and showing examples of what may happen to them when they are feeling angry. The social story then walks them through different coping strategies using visuals so that way students can practice calming themselves down from their anger.
