This is an End of Year Assessment/ Review for 5th Grade Math. The questions are based on the Common Core Standards. There are 33 multiple choice questions over 5 pages. in PDF format. The topics/ skills covered are: graphing points in the coordinate plane, finding the area of polygons, finding the volume of rectangular prisms, knowing properties of quadrilaterals, simplifying with order of operations, translation and evaluation of expressions, knowing the patterns of zeros in multiplication and division of whole numbers and decimals, reading and writing decimals in standard and expanded form, comparing decimals using greater than, less than, and equal to, rounding whole numbers and decimals, multiplication and division of whole numbers, all operations with decimals, using and converting customary and metric units of measure, fraction models, add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions, and word problems with whole numbers and fractions. There are answer sheets included with room for students to show their work as well as the letter that corresponds to the answer. The answer key is also included. You can use this as an assessment and then use the results to plan for intervention for individual students or for the whole class before your end of year testing.
