The problems progress across the set from very simple sums like 0+15 up to two-digit totals such as 19+1 and 16+4, so the difficulty increases as students move through the pages. Each page repeats the same color-by-code format with a fresh grid of problems and a new color key, letting the resource be used for repeated independent practice or as a math center activity. There is no separate answer key; the color key itself lets students self-check as they work, since a wrong sum will produce a color that does not match the intended picture.
