It is an unfortunate reality that one single leak of your passwords can lead to the theft of thousands of dollars from your savings account. It is also a frightening truth that your Smart TV can watch everything you do, and that Deepfake technology exists that is able to imitate your voice with ease. The above facts alone leave an overwhelming amount of people in a vulnerable position in relation to their personal digital security. This is the purpose of the 278-page "Digital Fear is Real" guide. This guide was created with the sole purpose of providing an in-depth, complete, and easy-to-understand reference tool for every aspect of your digital life. This tool covers everything, from passwords and mobile devices to social media, smart home technology, child safety issues, financial fraud, AI-driven threats, and estate planning. This guide goes beyond the typical frightening articles that do not provide real answers or to the overly technical books that require a computer science degree to understand. This book provides you with a complete step-by-step system that will allow you to protect yourself without having to spend a lot of time to achieve this goal. You'll Learn: * How to use password managers and passkeys * How to set up two-factor authentication to effectively stop hackers * How to secure your router and home network with six easy steps * How to protect your children from predators, cyber-bullying, and "sharing" * What you need to do to recover from identity theft and create an actionable recovery plan * How to install and use safe communication channels such as Signal, VPNs, Tor, and encrypted email * A 30-day privacy transformation plan to secure your digital world In addition to all the information contained in the guide, there are also many charts comparing different items, checklists, infographics, and a comprehensive appendix that contains a list of tools that every computer user needs to have. Why Parents (And Schools) are all in: Chapters Addressing the Child Safety Issues that Affect Parents and Adults in General, Including… Cyberbullying, online predators, sharenting, and children's digital footprint – all described in clear, no-nonsense, actionable terms. No Technical Experience Needed – These Chapters are written specifically for non-technical readers, with plenty of "common" language used in both chapters to facilitate understanding by teachers and parents who want to better protect their children from online dangers. Classroom and Family Resources Ready for Use – Each chapter is filled with checklists, comparison charts, infographics, and an overall 30 Day Action Plan that is great for either teaching curriculum or having family discussions at home. The Chapters Address Many of the Most Urgent Problems Facing Today's Children Including AI Voice Cloning, Deep Fakes, and TikTok Data Collection... so that they are prepared for whatever potential risk they may encounter this year. The 5-4-3-2-1 Classroom Desk Edition is the ultimate resource for teachers to help their students relieve anxiety, manage the stress of testing, and develop better focus in class. Do you need an evidence-based, effective method to help students, manage anxiety, combat test stress, and improve focus on work? Use the Mindfulness and Somatic Grounding Classroom Desk Edition. This no-fuss curriculum helps teachers help their students through the unique challenges of middle school. In a traditional middle school, there are limited opportunities for students to use mindfulness in a private manner that does not draw attention to themselves. The Mindfulness and Somatic Grounding Classroom Desk Edition is a trauma-sensitive, neurobiologically accurate best practice that provides students with a method to use at their desks that will not call attention to them or make them feel conspicuous. The framework is based on the well-known 5-4-3-2-1 sensory method. By providing instructions for using the 5-4-3-2-1 sensory method at their desks, you will create a space for your students that can serve as an anchor of calmness and safety. The toolkit is a perfect fit for school counselors, homeroom teachers, and any teacher interested in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). Everything you need to know to successfully teach this practice to your students is included in the toolkit! Here is a breakdown of the 43-page document: Part 1: Educator's Guide and Methodology: We go deep into an adolescent’s brain and how anxiety and their brain function. This will identify the reasons that this method works so that you have the professional knowledge to effectively teach it to students. The report contains case studies and the correct method of implementation. Part 2: 10-Worksheet Student Workbook: The student workbook is practical, interesting and beautifully produced to help guide all students through mastering the technique of Sensory Mapping. The worksheets are progressive in approach to build upon each of the skills necessary to master the technique (for example, from basic sensory mapping to “stealth” self-regulation in social situations and adapting the method of self-regulation for different environments—e.g., the library, science laboratory or assemblies). Part 3: Visuals and Educator Resources: a. Professional visuals—printable diagrams and mind maps that will allow you to visually represent Sensory Mapping to your students (ideal for use as classroom posters or in interactive notebooks); b. Scripts for Educators to teach the new technique to students in the classroom, both to the entire class and to individuals; c. Troubleshooting Guide (advice on what to do when students resist or have challenges with this approach); d. Section-by-section answer keys and educator notes to make it easy for you to assess and assist your students with each of the student worksheets. Assist your students in transitioning from the “fight or flight” response to the “rest and learn” mode by providing them with a self-regulation tool that they can use throughout their lives . Keywords: Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Mindfulness for Kids, Somatic Grounding, 5-4-3-2-1 Technique, Anxiety Management, Classroom Management, Middle School, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade, Test Anxiety, Focus, Self-Regulation, Trauma-Informed, Calm Down Corner, School Counselors, Printable Workbook, Digital Resource. Why School Systems and Parents Appreciate It: Low-Key and Without Stigma: This program lets students secretly control their anxiety with no attention drawn to themselves at their desks. Thus there is no social stigma attached to using an obvious 'calm down' tool or leaving the class to manage anxiety, which many adolescents are concerned about. Empowers Students: By learning how to ‘hack’ their own nervous system instead of relying on an adult to help them stop escalating to an explosive state, students are developing a coping strategy that gives them a tangible skill as well as a sense of control over their emotional state. Based on Evidence and Academics: The approach is based on established research from neurobiology and somatic psychology (the study of the amygdala hijack); therefore, both educators and students view the program in an academically serious manner because of the sophistication of the content but the simplicity of delivery. Comprehensive and Easy to Implement: This program is a comprehensive, use-ready package that includes a thorough description of the concepts, required materials, instructions for the teacher, illustrations, and complete answer keys. A busy educator could implement this program successfully with no problems at all. Addresses a Significant Need: With the increasing number of students suffering from anxiety in school, this program will help educators to address a significant need by providing a practical, efficient, and non-intrusive method to help students be present and able to learn. Target Audience: Content for Primary Target: The content of this resource is specifically targeting the primary target audience with specific and thorough data supporting it. Primary Target: Students in 6th-8th Grade (Middle School). The PDF provides information about this group consistently within the context of their neurological and social challenges they face (e.g. Synaptic Pruning, Social Camouflage, Peer Evaluation). The attached case studies/examples of two students, Julian and Maya, who are in the 8th and 6th grades, respectively and consistent with this audience. The worksheet difficulties are completely appropriate for this age group. Secondary Target: Students in 9th-10th Grade: Older readers with test anxiety or social anxiety will find this resource extremely useful. School Counselors, Psychologists and Therapists: This resource is an excellent Tier 1 (whole-class) and Tier 2 (individual/small group) intervention for school employed mental health providers. Special Education Teachers: This resource will provide an excellent tool to assist students who need a structured, concrete, sensory approach to learning self-regulation. Kindness & Gratitude Daily Reflection Journals

Kindness & Gratitude Daily Reflection Journals
Special Resources, Life Skills, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Social Skills, Special Education Needs (SEN), Speech Therapy, STEM, Resources for Teachers, Classroom Management, Community Building, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Worksheets & Printables, Workbooks, Worksheets, Word Searches, Teacher Tools, Lesson Plans, Presentations, Quizzes and Tests, Quizzes, Tests

With the Kindness and Gratitude Daily Reflection Journals (e.g K-5), you have the ability to turn your classroom or home into a center of kindness and emotional intelligence. This wonderful curriculum is a complete forty-three page pdf that contains research-based information from the fields of child development, affective neuroscience, and Somatic-Cognitive Integration Methodology as well as ten student worksheets that are ready for live implementation, and teacher implementation resources. This resource is designed specifically for classrooms with student populations from Kindergarten to 5th grade and is built on the facilitation of social skills through three developmental tiers: K-1: Sensory and Affective Identification (visual prompts/drawing) 2-3: Relational Reciprocation and Theory of Mind 4-5: Complex Systems (Ripple Effect) Thinking, and Intrinsic Altruism Through this curriculum, students will become "Kindness Detectives", engage in an Action-Reflection Cycle, create a map of gratitude through various ecosystems, develop their resilience using silver-lining prompts, and implement acts of altruism through a "Kindness Architect" blueprint. In addition, the curriculum includes theory around neuroplasticity, case studies of real-world use that show 42% drop in conflicts in the morning and 60% increase of student feeling "seen and valued", structural schematics (SVG format), differentiation strategies for reluctant learners, and a complete Teacher Implementation Guide. The Kindness Journals are perfect to use in morning meeting times, social/emotional learning blocks, restorative justice, homeschooling, or guidance/counseling sessions. This zero-preparation curriculum is available as a digital download, and you can easily print the material or assign the material digitally. The Kindness Journals can help increase emotional granularity, empathy, and an overall positive class culture within your classroom, while also providing a resource that supports SEL competencies as developed by CASEL. The reason teachers and parents are happy using this program: Results are measurable! Real-life classroom studies show that using the academic curriculum has decreased morning conflict by 42% and has helped 60% of the children who take part be recognized and appreciated. Both parents and teachers see these changes immediately! There is little preparation time needed to use the academic program. There are 10 ready-to-use worksheets and a teacher's guide with supportive materials for you to be able to use this program right now without spending any time preparing. The academic curriculum has been designed to have the ability to grow as the child grows, from drawing pictures in Kindergarten and First Grade to developing a sense of right and wrong in Fourth and Fifth grade. This ensures that each child in the room is able to be challenged and feel successful through the entire academic experience. The academic program uses what's called mirror neurons, neuroplasticity, and body language to ensure children will exhibit kindness as a daily behavior rather than as a rule. The academic program teaches children to look internally for their own feelings and authentic emotions as opposed to focusing on external rewards or expectations (performative kindness). The result of this process helps to create a child with a higher level of empathy and emotional resilience. Who this is for : This document has been created specifically for K-5 students (ages 5-11). It's not right for Pre-K (the material is too advanced) or Middle School./ For grades K-5, the three-level scaffolding aligns directly with elementary learner neuro-developmental stages., making this resource a match for the following categories of K-5 educators: -General education elementary classrooms (Grades K-5) -Families who homeschool their children -School Counselors / Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Coordinators -Special education / inclusive classrooms (differentiated activities provided) . -After school program or character education clubs . Designed for use in Grades 5–7 (ages 10–14), students will progress through this unit comprehensively by learning about the Carbon Cycle, measuring their actual CO₂e emissions, and creating their own personal plan for sustainability. The unit provides scientific text, real-world case studies (i.e. The Life of a White Cotton T-shirt), 10 individual audit worksheets related to home energy, transportation, diet, consumption, and water use. There is a Carbon Calculator provided which translates students' daily habits into actual data as well as templates for SMART Goal Setting and Advocacy Letters to promote action from students after completing the project. The materials align with NGSS (Earth and Human Activity Standard) and are ideal for Earth Day, STEM, or to promote Environmental Literacy throughout the rest of the school year. Systems Thinking – Students develop a deeper understanding of system relationships and the ripple effects of human activity on the ecological system through Life Cycle Assessment (T-shirts) and permafrost feedback loops. Teacher-friendly, Minimal Prep/Materials Needed – All materials required for implementation are provided (e.g., rubrics, answer keys, visuals, and 5-day pacing guides), so even non-science specialists can implement without difficulty. Opens Up Conversation at Home/School/Community – The advocacy letter and family audit provide an avenue for discussion beyond the classroom, resulting in actual changes to household sustainability. Targeted Grade Levels: The statement in the introduction clearly states that targeted grade levels are ‘5th, 6th, and 7th Grade.’ Therefore, because the math being introduced in this program involves multiplication, metric/unit conversions, basic percentage reasoning and cognitive complexity, I believe students in grades 5 through 7 will best use this resource as follows: Primary Group: 5th – 7th Grade (10-13 year olds) Secondary/Extension Group: (4th Grade) Advanced; 8th – 9th Grade as a basic review of what they learned in grades 5 and/or 6. Target Audience / Students Grades : Kindergarten & 4th/5th Grades are not targeted (English). The curriculum is developed with 1st through 3rd grade (ages 6-9) only - early elementary children who are in the concrete operational cognitive development stage; therefore, the curriculum utilizes concrete metaphors (e.g.; recipe, blueprint, vault, shield), large print for worksheets, and has scenarios appropriate for a given age, such as bats/frogs/knights/dinosaurs. This is not appropriate for kindergarten or 4th grade and beyond as the language and activity levels are too elementary for 4th and older students, and also too advanced for pre-k. Chemistry Binder Covers – Templates for Classroom Use Organize your chemistry handouts, notes, and units with visual clarity Simple and flexible templates to help organize your chemistry materials In my chemistry classes, it can be a challenge to keep things organized - especially when it comes to multiple units, lab notes, worksheets and review materials. To make it easier for my students and myself, I designed these simple binder sleeves. There are 12 different pages. The covers have a clean, colorful blob layout that is friendly but not distracting. I usually print them out and use them as cover sheets or as dividers in folders for students or teachers. They also work well for digital learning environments, e.g. as section covers in PDF files or on classroom platforms. I like that the color scheme allows students to quickly find what they are looking for, and it brings a little more structure to a subject that is often riddled with formulas and technical terms. When used as cover sheets, students can choose their favorite color for their cover sheet. This resource is handy - and has saved me a lot of time in lesson preparation and follow-up. What’s included: 12 chemistry-themed cover pages different colors zu choose as a cover sheet as a divider between the individual chemistry topics I've printed these on colored paper for my own binder and also used them digitally in student notebooks. Works well for both teacher organization and student-facing materials. 📍 Best wishes, Heike from Lernfitness Chemistry teacher (Biology teacher, Math teacher) in Germany Did You Know? I teach with a certified therapy dog, and together we create a positive and inspiring learning environment. 🐶✨

Case studies utilized for reference were from students in their 10th and 11th grade year, included high school scenarios such as expected academic performance (i.e., transcripts) to identify which extra curricular activities students would participate in, such as: extracurricular activities (e.g., debate club, robotics); and student worksheets will have students reflect on their interests (e.g., interest in space exploration or environmental projects) and what path they would pursue through a community college or university. This resource is perfect for career education classes, guidance counseling sessions, or homeschooling activities related to getting ready for the job market after high school and the impact on their jobs in an unstable economy. The secondary audience of the content and the example case studies was all post-high school students ages 12+ including: young adults transitioning to a 4-year college, first-year college freshmen, and working adults looking to upskill/re-skill. Additionally; case studies of older adults (past PhD graduates and adults in their late 20s seeking to transition from administrative positions to logistics in the bio-tech industry) demonstrate that the resource promotes lifelong learning, investigation, and adapting to shifting technologies (e.g., AI and quantum computing). Some target classes could be the introductory college career development course; vocational training program; and adult learning/education workshops about Artificial Intelligence Ethics and skill bridging. With an emphasis on marketing to high school career preparation classes, but also demonstrate the versatility of the program to appeal to transitional learners in larger markets. Mathematics Binder Covers – Templates for Classroom Use Organize your Math handouts, notes, and units with visual clarity Simple and flexible templates to help organize your Mathematics materials In my math classes, it can be a challenge to keep things organized - especially when it comes to multiple units, lab notes, worksheets and review materials. What’s included: 12 math-themed cover pages different colors zu choose as a cover sheet as a divider between the individual Mathematics topics I've printed these on colored paper for my own binder and also used them digitally in student notebooks. Works well for both teacher organization and student-facing materials. 📍 Best wishes, Heike from Lernfitness Math teacher (Chemistry teacher, Biology teacher) in Germany Did You Know?
