Math: Easter Math Activities Enhance your student's learning with fun, engaging, and amazing Easter-themed activity . This resource is specifically for middle school students and designed to lend them a hand in developing crucial math concepts such as problem-solving, adding decimals, subtracting decimals, among many others. The main idea behind the activity is to capture the notorious Easter bunny via ingenious problem-solving. Students are expected to solve 8 unique tasks each posing a clue about the hiding place of our fluffy friend. Through their correctly acquired clues from each resolved task, they're required to forecast where they think the bunny might have fled to. This incredibly versatile set can work wonderfully in multiple instructional settings – you could use it as part of daily review leading up towards Spring Break or even mold it into interactive stations across the classroom for an intensive day of experimenting with math. You could also assign this toolkit for homework tasks or use it during morning hours or bell work that fits best according to your style of working. The activities included cover vast key middle school-level math areas namely decimal operations (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing), multiplying whole numbers by whole numbers and understanding elapsed time; converting between units (inches to feet; ounces to pounds). As an additional support feature we've incorporated two versions: An exciting colorful version set ready-to-go upon printing lends vibrancy while engaging learners with these tasks. A more reserved black-and-white version provides simplicity coping up efficiently with color ink costs but without compromising academic worthiness. Digital Learning Support - Google Slide Digital Version To keep up pace with digitalized aspect of instruction in current times– we've also put together a Google Slide Digital Version that maintains the interactive base of this course thereby promoting higher level of engagement during remote instruction. Final Thoughts This Math: Easter Math Activities, whether used for homeschooling or in-class instruction, is bound to offer enriched learning experience all while instilling the joy of approaching spring season and a happy Easter filled with chocolates!

Earth & Space Science Bell Ringers Unit 1 - 45 Warm-Ups (6-8)

Earth & Space Science Bell Ringers Unit 1 - 45 Warm-Ups (6-8)
Earth Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Science, Environmental Science, Grade 6, 7, 8, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables

These Earth and space science bell-ringers give middle schoolers a calm, consistent way to begin class. Unit 1 gathers 45 short prompts on astronomy & space systems, arranged as nine weekly pages a teacher can hand out each Monday and collect on Friday. Each day asks something different - a vocabulary term, a few sentences to read and answer, a small analysis task, a quick check, and a question that asks students to explain their thinking. The variety keeps the routine from going stale while still reinforcing the tools of astronomy, the Sun and stars, the solar system, the seasons, the Moon and eclipses, gravity and orbits, galaxies and the universe, space exploration, and the life cycle of stars. Everything is print-first: a clean PDF that copies well, uses little ink, and needs no accounts or devices. A full answer key and a standards page (NGSS and CCSS literacy) are included so planning and grading stay quick. Designed for grades 6-8, the prompts work as a daily opener, a spiral review, or a settle-in task while attendance is taken. The routine is the point: the same five-minute opener every day, so students settle without being asked twice. It prints cleanly in black and white, which keeps a full class set cheap to photocopy. Each page stands alone, so a substitute can hand out the week without any briefing. The answer key makes grading quick, whether you collect the pages or review them together as a class. It works in person, hybrid, or remote, and fits a homeschool schedule just as well as a full classroom. No logins, accounts, or devices are required — just the printable PDF. Because a week sits on a single page, students who were absent can catch up without chasing loose handouts. The prompts spiral back through earlier material, so the routine doubles as low-stakes review before an assessment.

Find the Match – Chemistry Elements Matching Game A fast-paced visual review of atomic numbers and chemical symbols – inspired by the Spot It!™ game concept 🧪🧠 This printable chemistry card game offers a playful and challenging way for students to review the chemical elements. Designed to support symbol recognition, visual attention, and focus, it’s ideal for middle and high school science classes. Inspired by the Spot It!™ game concept (matching symbols) , the game is based on a simple idea: any two cards share exactly one matching chemical symbol – and players race to find it. Each card shows six element symbols (without names), so the game is especially suitable for students who already know the basics and want to strengthen their fluency. What’s included: 93 total cards (3 versions with 31 cards each) Card shapes: round, square (cut-friendly), and hexagonal Elements included: main group elements up to Period 5 + Cs Symbols and atomic numbers only – no element names Hand-drawn visuals created specifically for this resource Instructions included (PDF for print and laminate) How to use in class: This game works well as a review activity, brain break, or warm-up. I’ve used it at the end of a unit on the periodic table or to reinforce visual recall before a quiz. It can be played in pairs, small groups, or even as a whole-class team competition. To support deeper learning, you can also add color-coding tasks – for example, have students group elements by family or period after each round. The game naturally encourages cooperation, observation, and concentration. Because it’s printable and easy to prep, it’s also well-suited for substitute lessons or station work. Students enjoy the fast pace and competition – and they often don’t realize how much they’re reviewing in the process. A simple and flexible way to bring variety and engagement into chemistry class. 🐰 Print it, play it, and bring science to life! 📍 Best, Heike from Lernfitness Did You Know? Crash Course Government Episode Worksheet | 8 - Congressional Leadership
Social Studies, Government, Grade 7, 8, 9, 10, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets

Without a doubt, history is a topic that can be easily overlooked by our students. Sometimes, it can be difficult for them to make connections with the past in a way that makes sense to them. The same applies to government and politics. It can be difficult for our students to understand the rules and roles of being an American citizen. Being able to provide students with meaningful resources is the best way to get over this learning curve. Within my store, you will find a plethora of government and politics resources to utilize with your students. What You Get: This is the Congressional Leadership Worksheet for the Crash Course Government Episodes. This is a 2-page worksheet that has 15 questions for students to answer. The link to the Crash Course video can be found at the top of the worksheet. If students are completing this worksheet digitally, they will be able to quickly click on the link for themselves and be redirected to YouTube. An answer key is included in a separate Word document. If you print off the answer key, students can check their answers by themselves. The Congressional Leadership Video is 8 minutes long. How To Implement This Resource: You should print off enough copies of the worksheet for each student to have, so they can answer some of the questions as they listen to the video. You can listen to this video as a whole group and then allow students to listen to it again by themselves or in small groups, if your classroom has enough devices to do so. Being able to watch these engaging Crash Course videos more than once will help students make connections and close gaps for their understanding of government and politics. I hope you enjoy!

Letter N Worksheets + PowerPoint: Lesson 14
Special Resources, ELA, Special Education Needs (SEN), Language Development, Phonics, Speech Therapy, Kindergarten, Preschool, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables, Presentations, Teacher Tools

Learn Initial Sounds N: Lesson 14 teaches the letter Nn and its related phonic sound through a 34-slide PowerPoint lesson, and 5 follow-up activity worksheets. All you need to teach the phonic letter N! Whether in school or at home, this series of phonic presentations can help you effectively teach initial/beginning sounds to all pupils, including those with special needs/dyslexia. This lesson is part of a synthetic, systematic phonics programme for all abilities including those suspected of being dyslexic. This lesson is in the first stage of the Reading Made Simple programme where we teach the initial, or beginning, sounds. The ability to hear the initial/beginning sound is stressed throughout, while we learn to associate each letter with its sound. Each lesson can stand alone but the activities will presume knowledge of the previous letters in the alphabet as Reading Made Simple teaches the initial sounds in alphabetical order. Special features of the Learn Initial Sounds N: Lesson 14 The PowerPoint is silent so that you can interact with your child in the best way for them: full instructions are provided at the bottom of each slide - be sure to show 'Notes'. The PowerPoint is editable so that you can make it fit your pupils. Science of Reading Aligned Truly phonetic; no 'i' for 'ice-cream'. We focus heavily on phonemic awareness which is so necessary for a head start in phonics The child is given plenty of opportunities to learn the necessary skills - perfection is not expected in lesson 1. Still, the teacher will look for the development of the necessary skills as the child works through the alphabet. What is included in the Learn Initial Sounds N: Lesson 14? A 34-slide PowerPoint which teaches phonemic awareness, letter/sound correspondence and letter formation along with practice games 5 follow-up worksheets How can the Learn Initial Sounds N: Lesson 14 be used? It can be used in multiple ways: As the child learns each sound, you can use the PowerPoint lesson to reinforce your lesson It can be sent home for a child to watch with his/her parents after being taught the letter Nn in class - this will then act as revision as well as training the parent as to what is necessary to help the child. Use in class Use at home by parents or for home education Suggested Method: Introduce each letter in turn to your pupil. Have a flashcard of the letter ready. Say each letter's sound to the child and ask him/her to repeat it thrice. Explain that some words begin with this sound. Give an example. You can use the lesson as teacher training for yourself, to learn how to teach your child, or to use it with the child. Choose suitable activities (matching your child's ability) from the pack of worksheets. Notes are suggestions only. Use language appropriate to your pupil and be sure to interact naturally. However, could you focus on the child's hearing of the sounds at the beginning of words? This is often overlooked in the quest to help children learn the initial sounds as quickly as possible. Technical help: Please open PowerPoint in normal mode so you can see the notes and use the 'Draw' tool when prompted. Some slides are interactive.
