1st and 2nd Hand Accounts of Information Assessment

Use this original assessment to test your students’ level of understanding the difference between a first and second hand account of events found in informational text.  This 24 point assessment has students providing evidence found in the text to determine the focus of the author.  They will compare and analyze 1st and 2nd hand accounts of information in a variety of ways. They will even create their own 1st or 2nd hand account!  A complete answer key is also included!  (RI.4.6.
