The 28th Amendment Project guides students through creating their own constitutional amendment as an inquiry-based learning activity. Students take on the role of lawmakers and draft a new amendment to address a modern-day issue. This creative project leads students through anticipating opposition, problem-solving current events, and innovating solutions within the legal system. Pairs well with the 27 Amendments slides and notes to provide context of the amendment process.
