About This Product
This is an Absorbency Test that was designed for elementary students who may be learning about the absorbency of different materials.
What You Get:
Students will conduct an Absorbency Test with 4 types of material:
-- Plain paper
-- Newspaper
-- Toilet paper
-- Paper towel
Within this download, you will receive a 3-page Absorbency Test printable that will allow students to document some important information about their experiment:
-- The definition of absorbency
-- Equipment they will need
-- Space to write 4 steps they will take
-- Fair testing explanation
-- Predictions
-- Results
-- Conclusion
You will also receive two graphs to choose from for students to chart the amount of liquid absorbed with each material. You will choose from a graph with landscape orientation or portrait orientation.
How To Implement the Absorbency Test:
Choose which graph you’d prefer students to have and then print everything off for students. If students are working in groups for this experiment, you may choose to print off 1 set per each group. Otherwise, all students can benefit from being able to document the information in their own words. The Absorbency Test Printable will walk the teacher and students through the beginning and end of this experiment.
