Acorn Counting Clip Cards 1-20

This acorn themed clip cards center is the perfect hands on kindergarten math activity for fall or autumn. Students will count acorns in a variety of patterns and then clip the correct number on the clip card.

What is Included:

• This resource contains 13 pages of clip cards. The clip cards are arranged to 4 to a page, making them great for a task box activity. There are several cards for each number, with acorns arranged in a circle, in a grid layout and in random order for students to practice counting from 1 to 20.

Ways to Use the Counting Clip Cards

• * Task Box Activity - The clip cards and clips used to mark the correct answer can easily be stored in a task box. This allows for easy set up and clean up of this center.

• * Morning Tub or Baskets - The clip cards and clips are placed in a basket and set out in the morning for students to complete while everyone arrives to class.

The counting clip card center activity can be used in math centers, as independent practice, or in a small group setting. The clip cards allow students a fun and engaging way for students to practice counting. Students will want to complete these task cards over and over.

The teacher may choose to separate the cards according to the counting style of each card (like putting all the circle counting cards together, all the grid counting cards together or all the randomized cards together), or keep them all mixed up.

The clip cards are a low prep activity. The teacher simply needs to print out the pages, cut them apart and then laminate them if desired.
