Animal Adaptations in the Desert
About This Product
Learners in grade 2 and grade 3 who are focusing on animal habitats will enjoy this multi-subject activity. First, they will read brief paragraphs about specific animals in and out of the desert habitat. They will then use this information to list adaptations the animals use to live in the desert environment. Lastly, they will do a writing activity in which they contrast a desert animal and one other animal of their choice from a different habitat. In this product you will find worksheets for 3 different skill levels, allowing for differentiated learning. Please note, the color and B&W versions of this product are identical.
